Learn to fly cross country with a coach

The GliderCup is an introduction to cross-country flying for glider pilots. The aim is to provide an attractive, guided and safe introduction to cross-country flying and to pass on the extensive knowledge of experienced instructors and cross-country pilots.

On each GliderCup flying day, a number of SG Lägern and ASSAG two-seaters will be available to interested pilots. The organisers make every effort to ensure that all interested cross-country pilots are able to take part in an accompanied flight in a two-seater.

Our aim is to encourage:

  • more (cross-country) flying
  • to have more fun flying
  • to share more experiences
  • to pass on the know-how of experienced instructors/pilots
